" Quaint DC Spot that's more of a Bar/Grill than Dedicated Restaurant
We went here for an early dinner in the middle of the week. We were able to get right in. This is one of those Bar/Grills that has good food but it's more setup as a bar for night life in DC. It has a rooftop but I didn't get a chance to see it.
I had the skirt stake & it was pretty good. Nothing that blows your taste buds away but still good. My wife had a fried chicken dinner & my kids had chicken tendors. The chicken was a fried a little too hard. I'm from the south so they so this spot doesn't have the perfect formally for frying chicken n by a long shot.
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was knowledgeable and of the menu & was able to suggest several items & explain food items & how they taste.
Overall we had a good meal but we'd try another restaurant before going back here since we were on vacation. If you're looking for that perfect spot for drinks and food, especially a bar/night life happy hour ambiance, then this is your place. If you're looking for a great family restaurant, with great food, then you're probably better off going elsewhere. "
