" Very disappointing. I was supposed to rent a car from here back in November. I called to confirm rental days before and asked if there was anything I needed. I was informed that I could just come and pick it up. When I got there I was unable to do so since I didn't have a credit card at the time. There was absolutely no mention during the rental process or the confirmation so this could have been avoided. Not only that, but they weren't able to find my reservation to change the driver so I could actually rent it. The lady at the desk was very nice and was as helpful as she could be. However, I will never use this service again. Almost $800 down the drain. I don't recommend anyone use this service if they value their money "

" The car was very dirty when we picked it up. I wiped the entire vehicle down with disinfecting wipes upon pickup and there was very obvious dirt on the paper towels. The vehicle looked like it had only been rinsed off and the door jambs were covered in a disgusting brown dirt. I reserved the vehicle quite a bit in advance and paid for it in full prior to pickup. The day before the pickup I received an email from Budget that asked me to put in my drivers license information for a faster pickup. When I arrived at the counter the car was almost $500. more than I had prepaid. The counter attendant could not tell me why, she said the rate was the same. I had no real choice about whether I picked up the car or not because we had to leave the next day. The counter attendant told me it would be taken care of at return. That was not the case. I am very unhappy with the change of price by merely putting in my drivers license number ahead of time. I am not a young driver and do not have any violations or tickets on my license so that could not have caused a problem. The vehicle operated well and we had no issues with it however if I would have known the price was $400+ higher than originally quoted I would probably have chosen a different rental company. "

I have been using Budget rental since I had some bad experiences at 2 other car rentals spots. Budget Staff is awesome especially in Cleveland and in Sarasota great job! prices are great 😊 variety of vehicles you can choose from. Also the have the best deals most of the time. So keep up the good work BUDGET see you in 3 months! "
