" I had the absolute BEST experience at Gendron. My husband passed & they were so very kind, SINCERE, professional and CARING. He passed at Tidewell Hospice in the very early morning of Sept. 8, 2022. Hospice called Gendron and in less than 90 minutes they arrived to take him in a most professional way! I met with Amanda later that same day to make all of our arrangements. She knew exactly what needed to be done, she also made the notification to Social Security and of course made all the arrangements that our family wanted. My husband wanted to be cremated and his remains brought back to MA for a service. Amanda told me this process takes 7 to 10 days. It was barely 7 days when his remains were ready along with all of the death certificates that I wanted, an urn I purchased and 100 beautiful prayer cards that Lee Ann made, the beautiful box & bag to take on the plane in my suitcase and purple velvet bags I asked to have some of his ashes in to sprinkle in all of his favorite places. I was also provided a letter for TSA to fly on the plane with his remains & I had no problems with them. They also placed his obituary on their website. I was recommended to "Gendron Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc." by a local funeral home, Conley's Funeral & Cremation Services, which has been in this business for 112 years, in my hometown of Brockton, MA when making arrangements for a family member two years ago. The Director said they were kind of a "sister company" in that they worked with them for a lot of snowbirds or residents of FL since Gendron is originally from up North. I saved the info knowing I may need a reliable, trustworthy funeral service in the future. Conley's couldn't say enough great things about them and how you have to be especially cautious with these establishments in the State of FL. I urge anyone that reads this to use this wonderful place in your time of need, it was pure smooth sailing at a very sad, horrible time in my life. They made the whole process easy & I knew that my loved one was in the absolute BEST of hands. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you Amanda & Lee Ann from the bottom of my heart!! "
