" Disaster!

My daughter made an appointment two months in advance to have her hair styled for her wedding.

On the day of her scheduled appointment, just five days before her wedding, the salon called one hour before she was scheduled to go into the salon and cancelled her appointment.

She was told no one could perform the service even though when the appointment was made in person two months prior she was assured they could.

Two months and no one called to inform her they were unable to provide her with service.

When contacted the salon manager showed no regret or remorse, she simply said they could not do anything.

When pressed to come up with a viable option she called another JC Penny salon and left our telephone number with them to contact us and then washed her hands of the situation she created.

She made no follow up and the second salon never contacted us.

One of the most important days of my daughter’s life and JC Penny showed a total disregard for her big day.

If it had been their daughter’s wedding they would not be so uncaring.

" I am not one to write negative reviews; however, my online order arrived to the store and was sent back without my approval and/or any acknowledgement. The staff at the store kept telling me every day to "check back tomorrow." When I finally called the customer service number, the woman on the line was the one that told me that the order was returned. BY WHO? She then re-placed an order and ordered the WRONG items after I went over it with her at least four times. POOR POOR POOR customer service. "

" JcPenny is the store who told their lost prevention specialist to follow us out to our vehicle and harassed us about stealing something but what is crazy is that we never even went into JcPenny at all!!!😡😡 We just stood at their entrance debating if we wanted to go in or not and I saw the lady kept staring at us so I decided not to go in! JcPenny at Indian River county Mall in Vero Beach Fl has a lot and I mean a lot of explaining to do!!!😡😡 I plan on pursuing a racial discrimination lawsuit against the company! My Birthday was ruined yesterday because of the way my friend and I were treated yesterday! I did file a police report for harassment and I will mail it to JcPenny headquarters! When I did go in to talk to the manager And I asked him to review the tape to see that we did even step on foot in the store he would not do it and he simply pointed to the door and told me to "Get out of his store now!" Please do not shop here! Your hard money should not support a store that maliciously make false accusations (and act on those false accusations) against individuals who did not even come in the store! I demand answer on why we were treated like that yesterday and on all the days my Birthday!!! We were humiliated embarrassed and very angry with JC pennies horrible stereotyping and racially profiling tactics!😡 very very upset ex- customer! "

" Went to our JCP store to purchase a Kuerig. For sale in store for 119.99. Online JCP for 99.99. Showed customer service the online ad. They said they could not sell the store stock for 99.99, we would have to order it on-line. Ok, so we ordered it right there and they would call when it came in. Breakdown....99.99 for product, 7.00 tax AND 4.99 SHIPPING!! Meanwhile, we are looking at a STACK of the the same Kuerig model setting on the display floor. Customer service agreed it is crazy but that is the JCP policy. OK. Once at home we found the same Kuerig on Amazon for 98.49, free shipping with Prime and no tax, delivery the next day! Ordered from Amazon and tried to cancel JCP order. They said we would have to wait until it came in to cancel. OK. One week later, no call from JCP. We went to the store to see if it came in......yes. Customer service brought it out and we promptly returned it. Oh, and they kept the 4.98 shipping charge!!!! Seems to me that JC PENNY needs to work on there customer service. This bad experience just cost JPC another customer plus a not so good on-line rating! "
