Vote for Ricky

Ricky is a Democrat millennial Cuban-American, raised by a single mother and grandmother in the heart of Miami - both of whom reminded him and his siblings daily to improve themselves and their community. After graduating from college at Boston University and going to graduate school at Lesley University, he went to work to fight for the issues that are important to working families in South Florida and around the country.

But, Ricky’s freshman year of college his mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He has spent years meeting professionals and people living with MS, truly understanding how hard it has been for those with pre-existing conditions to receive health care. When the Affordable Care Act passed and people started paying attention to people with pre-existing conditions, it was easier to have hope for better health outcomes.
