The ABAC Travel Program enjoyed a day trip to the Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville, FL to see The Little Mermaid Musical brought to life on stage. Our trips are open to everyone and we welcome travelers of all ages. For more information on future trips, visit www.abac.edu/travel.

Our beloved Golden Stallion left the Alumni Circle on a trailer this morning to receive some scheduled maintenance... an approved removal, unlike what happened in this 1981 photo from the Tifton Gazette. Mike Chason rescued the Stallion from hunting land on Brighton Road- would anyone like to make a confession 38 years later?

ABAC celebrated a special legacy at our spring commencement as we welcomed the family of Kyle Jones. Kyle graduated Class of 2019 as a part of the first-ever Ag Education cohort. He was joined by his great grandfather, William Heaton, who graduated from ABAC 72 years earlier as a member of the Class of 1947. Congratulations, Kyle!

We pause to remember and celebrate those who have given their lives in service to our nation this Memorial Day weekend. ABAC continues a partnership with Carry the Load, a national initiative that seeks to continue the legacy of these individuals. ABAC student Cheyenne Colson is a part of the National East Coast Relay as her team spends 32 days leading up to Memorial Day walking through cities "carrying" the stories and memories of our fallen heroes. Many other ABAC alumni will also participate in local relays. We are proud to play a small part in this important day.
