" It was Thursday night and there was a burning in my soul as I listen to the rhythm and the pulse of the drums that beat a tale of a heart paralyzed by the question of you…….(My shameful attempt to vibe off this soulful fusion of music, love notes, and genius).

We will save the best for last and talk briefly about the establishment.
Acoustic Jazz Restaurant & Lounge is located at 840 Marietta Street , Atlanta, GA. The parking is ample for a place of it’s size. From the note I saw, It can hold about 160 people.
The seating was not great for a large crowd. The table I was sitting at had my back to the stage. There was not really enough room between the seats to pull the chairs out. I managed to position myself so I did not get a crook in my neck when turning around to watch the performance. I loved the decor and the atmosphere…. just had that slight problem with the seating arrangements. I would like to say that the food and drinks made up for it, but the server never came back after she bought me the water. The food looked great on the plates around me. They really seemed to enjoy it. In all fairness, I was seated at a large table for our Jazz meetup group and maybe that confused the server- So we will give them the benefit of the doubt. I will be back to try the food—-Hopefully.
I do want to say that the hostess was very friendly and the owner very polite.

Hank Stewart & The Muse gave their guest one Hell of a Show!
One of the most memorable pieces was performed with Melvin Miller called “Chocolate”. It was a delightful tease of sensual poetry and playful humor. The Muse fused perfectly with the spoken word performance. Their renditions of some of our favorite songs were incredible-well except for one. I understand the difficulty in trying to emulate Rachelle Ferrell and Will Downing’s “Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This” , so I will not be too hard on you for missing the high notes. I just want to go on record saying that Daisy is the business. She needs her on show. Spoken word and a great voice. Atlanta, Watch out for Daisy-She is NEXT!

" I really don't see how this place is still open. The servers were horrible at serving and the place is so tiny that you are barely able to get up to use the bathroom. I sat close to the back and tried to get up to use the bathroom. I received the dirtiest looks from customers that were trying to enjoy their food and they had to keep scooting up to let me or people through just to use the bathroom!! Then you have these waiters and waitress that know their getting their tip included so they just don't care about giving good service. I wouldn't eat here if I were homeless. I've had better experiences in Taco Bell drive-thrus. This place sucks. Will not be back ever. "

" Went there March 23, 2013....it was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed myself. I would agree with some of the others in saying that the service isn't the best, but because this is a fairly new place and it gets so packed I can understand the confusion. I would say that maybe they should have things color coded so the guests know which section belongs to which server(s)... (just a suggestion). I took a friend out for his birthday to the modern jazz side of the venue and we arrived early, which I would recommend just to get a good seat. It is true that the 2 item minimum is not enforced but, they are running a business here. The host was great, the owner was welcoming, and the music was truly a fabulous experience. I am even thinking about making reservations to try the classic jazz side of the venue. I can definitely say I will return soon. "
