" So good! I missed this gem the first time around, but no worries cause they're back! When my boyfriend first suggested we check them out during their first week I was admittedly just going along for his sake. They totally won me over. The staff is very friendly. I think I saw the owners family members working that day. They have stuff I can eat, which is important because my stomach is a pain in the gut (get it?). Anyhoo, I've been back 4 or 5 times since and it's always delicious. Check out the specials because the kitchen really plays to win. To close with a quote I borrowed if you've never been here "you are not living your best life". "

" Greeted promptly; super friendly staff (thank you server: Matthew). Ordered the fried green tomato sliders and switched the fries for cream corn. OMG, far better than expected. Best cream corn I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Sliders were on point too (hopefully they will soon let you mix & match the sliders). Five out of five for this first visit and will be sure to return! "

" Oh, have mercy. I love me some Big Tex.
My husband took me for my birthday on a whim earlier this month. He had the Frito Pie for an appetizer - holy beans. SO good. He had sliders for dinner (the chorizo slider is KILLER) and I had the most amazing hamburger of my life.
I love me some hamburgers. Seriously. And this was the best. I got it with pimento cheese and bacon... oh, buddy. I ate every bite!
Our waitress was phenomenal. It was crazy-busy but she came by frequently and even let us in on our favorite secret - they have $3 schooners of Shiner Bock! We came back about 3 weeks later and she remembered us - and remembered what we wanted to drink! I was so impressed.
The manager introduced himself to us, too - and also remembered us when we returned later that month.
Big Tex is the JAM. It's where it's at. You can't go wrong with anything here! "
