Bishop Hall is SACS, GAC and AdvancEd Accreditation Commission (NCA) accredited and has been active in the Thomas County Public School System since 1999.

Having recently received the go ahead from GADOE for its third consecutive charter, Bishop Hall is entering its thirteenth year as the primary effort by the Thomas County School System to elevate its school completion rate. It is chartered through 2014. To date, nearly 315 students have graduated from Bishop Hall. Thomas County's graduation numbers have increased every year since our inception and the number of Bishop Hall graduates average approximately 25 students per year.

The Center for Educational Reform identified Bishop Hall as one of its "100 BEST BETS" out of 4000 charter schools nationwide and selected Bishop Hall as one of three charter schools in Georgia identified in Charter Schools Today: Stories of Inspiration, Struggle, and Success.
