" I’ve had pleasant experiences with Kay’s before, but have only bought diamonds. Went to this Valdosta location looking for a non-diamond promise ring for Christmas. Staff wasn’t very friendly and was not helpful in the selection process of finding an affordable ring. Not everyone can afford a $1k ring. I’m a college student and my boyfriend and I spend our money on our livings, not materialistic things. A simple ring is all I needed. I basically got told that if he didn’t buy me a diamond, then he’s not worth it or I’m not worth it to him. NOT TRUE. There are plenty of beautiful rings that aren’t diamond. I don’t know if he was so pushy because he doesn’t make commission off of anything but a diamond, but I won’t ever be back to this location. Their sister store (Zales) got my service (girls were so helpful there), and I ended up with a beautiful white gold dainty diamond ring that same night. "

" First and foremost, I want to commend this store and the people working there for being absolutely amazing and understanding through the entire process we went through with them. They were patient and kind and were extremely helpful. I had purchased a ring that I ended up thoroughly disliking because of design flaws that I hadn't noticed when i first went in to look at rings. I had found one i liked but it wasn't in our budget. The manager David suggested we go custom and he sat with us for hours and really brought the perfect ring to life. He is very down to earth and helpful. He won't lie to you in order to get someone to purchase something. He would rather you leave without something than be unhappy with something you did purchase. He went above and beyond for us. Anyone looking for something custom or need some very good professional and honest advice, please see David. You won't be disappointed. I have never been so happy with a piece of jewelry. It was my dream ring and now I have it :) "
