Lucky Dog Chicago Eatery was born because a pregnant woman craved the food from her hometown of Chicago! That was in 2013!

For the last four years, Lucky Dog has been proudly serving the taste of Chicago in Suwanee, GA, and we plan to continue to do just that!

We use quality, all beef, Vienna Beef hot dogs just like in Chicago! Our traditional Chicago Dog that's "dragged through the garden" is our most popular, & our signature, jumbo Cowboy Dog with bacon, BBQ sauce, onion rings and a drizzle of our house made Chipotle sauce is another favorite! Thinly sliced Italian beef with our house made au ju,& spicy, special recipe giardinear, on a toasted Gonnella roll, has been compared to that of Portillo's, and can be served dipped or dry.

Now, we're serving the taste of Chicago with a New York flare! My name is Lori, and I am the new owner of Lucky Dog.

My love for food started in my Nana's kitchen while growing up in Bronx, New York. I come from a traditional Italian family on both sides of my family tree; so I guess you can say I was born loving great food; especially Italian food!
Every Sunday, the house smelled like Nana's gravy (pasta sauce or marinara to most) that would cook on the stove for hours. Afterwards, we would all sit around the big table for macaroni, meatballs, a salad and bread.

I'm a foodie down to my core, and I can't wait to share my love of food with our Lucky Dog Family!
We are in the process of creating a menu of Italian favorites to offer in addition to our existing menu. Our new catering menu will also have items like baked ziti, traditional sausage & peppers/onions, eggplant parmigiana & MORE!

Our staff is always happy to create your food your way, which is the Lucky Dog way!
