" Great staff. Mrs. Priscilla always makes me laugh with her sweet but straight forward disposition.

It seems as though this place has become a panhandling haven. There are always at least one person, but most times there are multiple. They are persistent both when you are coming and going. I shop here daily due to its location relative to my work. Something also need to be done about the folks bathing in the bathroom. "

" By far the slowest deli I've ever seen. Even without a line it's awful. "

" This publix has a place to sit and eat your deli order. It is good stuff and cheaper than fast food. It is walking distance to midtown station and piedmont park. The bakery also has some good deals if you like those sweets. Keep an eye out for 2 for 1 deals in this store which are actually half price deals. Adjust your menu accordingly and save big time! "

" This Publix has the friendly and helpful staff of your typical Publix, but if feels cramped. The space is laid out strangely. No butcher counter, the seafood counter is small, the deli counter is cramped by an awkwardly located structural column, and the produce section is small. On the bright side, it's got many of the typical positives for a Publix. Friendly staff, always well stocked, and clean. Ample parking in the free parking deck, entry is on 8th. "

" This Publix treats homeless people like garbage. I was standing outside after shopping talking to a homeless friend who is usually in the area. A cop comes out after thirty seconds and asks, "Is he asking you for money?" (Panhandling near a store is punishable by a month of jail time in Ga, which is as useless a band-aid on the systemic problem of homelessness as I can think of) I say, "No, just talking to my neighbor." He looked at me like I was crazy to think of a homeless man as a human being let alone a neighbor. "Your neighbor? Well, loitering is not allowed." I was about to argue that I was a paying customer and therefore not loitering but my friend got scared and ran off. Probably the right move on his part as the homeless aren't typically given the same sort of legal leeway as most of us. They are treated like the garbage of society because they can't contribute money. Occasionally, Publix allows people to rest in the cafe and store their cart in the lobby, provided they purchase something from the store. I guess some security guards are stricter than others. I would like to see this become a universal policy and to stop the homeless witch hunt I see sometimes. The cashiers in this Publix are very friendly, and recognize me, almost as if they were members of a community rather than representatives of a faceless corporation. It seems to be important to Publix to be connected to the community and provide excellent customer service. I would ask Publix to remember that being part of a community entails being kind to your neighbors and giving a hand when you can. "

" This Publix is very conveniently located next to the MARTA Midtown station, has a decent selection, but is a little bit pricey (particularly fruits and vegetables). In terms of selection, I like that they provide ethnic groceries, seasonal offerings, as well as basic kitchenware and household and office items. At the same time, the store layout is compact, they try to place relevant items together, and they rarely have long checkout lines, so you don't need to spend too much time there (they also have an express checkout line). There is a table with discounted items right next to the entrance from the parking lot, where you can sometimes find very curious and heavily discounted items. There is a Georgia Tech shuttle stop right at the opposite corner of the Peachtree Place and Spring Street. "
