" We were thrilled with how wonderful the entire staff was at St. Francis. We had an emergency with one of our dogs, she needed stitches on her face, and our regular vet was booked. We called St. Francis and they had us come in immediately. They took care of our Ciara, quickly, and she was very happy and didn't show any fear going with the staff. She was still happy when they returned her to us with two staples and an E-collar!
My husband and I recently moved to the Augusta area, and we are so happy with the medical team at St. Francis we are going to make them our new Vet.
We took our other dog, Raven, the next day (Saturday) to discuss behavior therapy and anxiety medication. The therapist, Stephanie, spent a lot of time with us and showed us some new techniques to use. Dr. Garner discussed medications we could try, and spent a lot of time with us discussing our concerns. He listened to our concerns and we never felt rushed or that he was too busy.
We recommend this place to anyone who loves their babies and wants the best care for them. "

" I have been going here for years!!! They are always helpful. I especially love Dr. Kim!!!! Scarlet my little dog can be cranky and she handles her very well with understanding and kindness. My dog has severe allergies and Dr. Kim educated me on how to help prevent outbreaks so she will not become so sick.I really appreciate them and how they are always kind to me with my work hours. I truly feel like i do not need to worry when i go there for the simple fact they have never hurt her when doing her nails and she has black toe nails. So it can be hard. Some people say they are pricey but honestly you can not put a price on quality and the care they provide. Plus they have worked with me. "

" My husband and I ended up going to St Francis Animal Hospital as a last minute, after hours for most vets in the area, emergency. We were immediately taken into a room, while our cat was taken into the back and started on oxygen treatment. They explained to us his symptoms, explained the best route of care, and kept him quiet. Unfortunately, we were unable to save our beloved Sven, but the care, respect, professionalism, and overall hospitality from Dr. Barnes, Dr. Hennessy, Erin, and the rest of the crew at St. Francis were so kind, and heartfelt. We are moving our other four legged kids over to St Francis, and look forward to building a long term relationship with them. "

" My puppy got too close to her big brother while he was eating and he thought it necessary to teach her a lesson. He bit her pretty hard on the cheek and scared me half to death. After cleaning her up and making sure she was okay (my husband used to work for a shelter and he knew what to check to see if we needed to get her to an emergency vet), a little golf ball sized pocket formed in her cheek that would go down when she slept/rested and come back when she played around. She wasn't exhibiting any signs that it bothered her (and believe me, she played hard!) and there was zero change in her eating/drinking habits, but it bothered me.
I decided to take her to get her checked out and after calling around, I found St. Francis Animal Hospital and they were able to examine her that day. I took her in and the tech did a wonderful job assuring me that she was going to be okay and took my pup to the back to have the doc look at her. It took about 15 mins altogether and the doctor came back and told me she was fine, she just needed it drained, and gave me an antibiotic to prevent infection. I was very relieved, but also terrified of what the bill was going to look like, as many reviews I read were saying the pricing here was outrageous. They gave me a heart worm puppy pack to get my pup started for heart worm treatments and did her distemper vaccination while we were there. Turns out, the exam and procedure, the vaccine and puppy pack were very affordable and I was pleased with the service I received for the amount it cost me.
Being new to the area, and hoping to find a good place to treat my pets, I will be back here. Thank you, St. Francis Animal Hospital for taking good care of my puppy! "

" I was very impressed with the entire staff last night. The doctor gave us the option to take our lab home and doctor ourselves with medications or she could stay for the night and get an IV form of meds. We elected to have her stay for treatment and couldn't be happier. Although she is heeling, she is back to her loving regular self today "
