Sweet Tea is a quarterly opportunity for caregivers, family members, friends, cancer patients and survivors in the North Atlanta community to gather for encouragement, support and reflection. Along with an elegant tea setting and time for community building, the events include an outside speaker. Sometimes the speakers talk about their own journey with cancer or some element of cancer care. At other times, we have had humorists, artists or musicians simply come and give participants a break from the current rigors of their lives.
