" Do not. I repeat do not use Two Men and a Truck in Pooler, Ga. The movers failed to cover a LazyBoy recliner and when ratcheting the load straps completely destroyed the wood finish. To worsen the matter I took out an insurance policy to cover what was presented as an "in case of excess of negligence damages" policy for $75.00. After the General Manager Rick Jorgensen inspected the damage he claimed the he has a friend that would charge less than $300 to repair the furniture or if we chose , he himself is "pretty handy"himself with touching up wood blemishes. This of-course after stating that the insurance will not cover the damage , nor would TMAAT pay for any repair even after I asked him to consider that I shouldn't be held responsible for his workers negligence. Rick will not return calls nor answer emails, but luckily I got someones attention who will follow up with his actions. "

" We recently sold our home in Georgia and moved to South Carolina. We hired Two Men and A Truck out of Pooler, Georgia. We have a baby grand piano that they assured us would be no problem to move as they had moved many pianos over the years. The moving team they sent loaded the piano on the piano skidboard keyboard side down. Baby grand pianos are to be loaded onto their flat side. Every reputable moving company knows this. It is standard operating procedure. Needless to say the keyboard was badly damaged along with the top board butt hinge. The body of the piano was split at the hinge and sustained numerous dings and scratches. They tried to repair the damage, but in the end we took receipt of what was once a pristine high shine, black polyester finish piano and is now one with a key that sticks, a key slip with hardened drips of overcoat on it, a finish that is scratched/dinged in numerous places and filthy from sitting in their open warehouse for over a month.
Also, please be very vigilant when signing their contract. If you want insurance, make sure that box is checked before signing. The contract came to me with the box for their standard 60 cents/pound already checked even though I had several conversations with their customer service representative stating I wanted insurance. I didn't notice and found myself up a creek with no paddle in sight! "

" Worst Movers Ever. I was very excited when scheduling my movers with this company but after my experience I would have to advise against using this company for your move. Im not a picky person and understand complications but these things were inexcusable.
The movers arrived late, smelled like marijuana, took frequent breaks to text and smoke more marijuana, rode the clock to prolong the time, didnt get many things moved, had a horrible "thuggish" type attitude, tried to overcharge me, and demanded a tip. They completely demolished a magnolia tree in my front yard because the driver was not a skilled truck driver, ran over my mailbox. Its really the worst experience I have ever had.
After talking with the Manager and General Manager I am even more disgusted with this company. I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for not calling the main office and reporting the movers while they were at my home. Yeah right, like im going to get 2 thugs in trouble while they are in my home where they could hurt me. No thanks. So I was offered a very lack luster apology and they let me know that the mover admittedly is a drug abuser.. thanks so much for the customer service!! I am certainly spreading the word about the lack of customer service in this company.
I do not recommend this company to move any of your things if you value your time and property. "
