The Society for Georgia Archaeology Spring Meeting will be held on May 18th (Saturday), 2019 in at the UGA Laboratory of Archaeology in Athens, Georgia, from 9am to 5pm.

Did you know that two of the Laboratory of Archaeology's directors worked on the Clarks Hill Lake project? Arthur R. Kelly was the Laboratory's first director followed by Joseph Caldwell.

For completing his Ph.D., Dr. Thompson gave the new Dr. Brandon Ritchison a sword. He was knighted as Sir Brandon of Kenan because his dissertation research was on Kenan Field.
