" We paid this company over $700 last year to cut Christmas lights to the size of our house and hang them. Upon paying for this service, we were told they would store the lights for us and come back the following year (2022) and hang them for $300. We were recently sent an email inquiring if we would like to get on their list for $500 plus a $20 early bird discount. My husband responded asking why it was so expensive despite being told it would be less. He was then sent another quote that was $60 more than the initial $500. We told them heck no. I don’t know how this company will sell many lights to hang this year with rising costs of everything. I would rather spend $500 on a Christmas tree, dinner, and gifts than to pay some young guys to spend an hour hanging lights that were already cut to my house. What a shame. "

" We were looking to expend our balcony and install a glass railing. We found Rocky Mountain Exteriors at the business expo in Boise in 2019. A sales rep came to our house and gave us an estimate to do what we wanted. He came out to our house the 1st of Nov, 2019. We signed a contract with Roy Lujan in the amount of $23,750.00 (we paid 1/2 of that upfront at the time we met with Roy Lujan) on Nov 5th, 2019. We didn't hear any thing from them for a few weeks so we called just to find out that our sales rep had been fired!!! No one from the company seemed to know the details of our project. They then set up another meeting, 3 weeks later, because they were not sure what Roy had done with regards to the ordering of the materials for our project. They hired a sub to come out and extend the deck, J & S Asphalt Maintenance, they then hired another sub to install the glass railing (Atkinson's Mirror and Glass). It took them months before the project was finished in May, 2020.
Since that time we have been having issues with the glass railing coming loose and is leaning, which is a big safety issue. When Chris and his worker painted around the new decking they dripped and spilled paint every where on the patio beneath the balcony. The deck is literally being pulled apart due to the glass railing leaning outward so much. We have tried to contact them on numerous occasions to no avail to get our promised warranty (per our contract) since Sept, 2020 but due to Rocky Mountain Exteriors not paying their subs for the work they performed the subs will not honor the warranty of their workman ship. We spent $23,750.00 with this company and they will not honor the warranty!

" We learned about Rocky Mountain Exteriors when they were working on a house on our block in Hailey, ID. One of their salesmen came by to offer a free estimate of a new roof. Once he explained the issues he saw, we made an appointment to have someone come up to take measurement. The salesman broke down the steps of a new roof, offered financing and was able to answer any questions we had. When the time finally came for the job to get started, we were excited. the work crew showed up promptly at 8 am and got to work. they were very respectful of the house and yard. They made sure to clean up after themselves and after about 10 hours worth of work, they were done! They did such a great job and we have gotten so many compliments on our new roof and the sense of security we get knowing that we have a 50 year warranty feels great! We will definitely do work with Rocky Mountain Exteriors again and we recommend them to all who ask about our roof. "
