" I’m not the type to typically write a review, but when someone goes out of the way to help you, you return the favor. We had our roof installed by Home Improvements USA about 1.5 years ago, and then got new siding earlier this year from another company. (We would have rather used HI USA for the siding, but had to go through insurance, which forced us to go a different direction.) The design of our home over the front porch is rather poor (the porch roof pitches steely toward a side wall at a 45 degree angle, with no pitch change to slow the water) causing issues with snow build up and ice dams, which likely led to some issues with water getting into the porch overhang. The issue is chiefly the result of a poor design, and less about the quality of the craftsmanship of the roofing and siding jobs. After speaking with both the roofing company (HI USA) and the siding company, Steve Tenute (President of HI USA) stepped up to help fix the situation. What was originally thought to be a quick, couple hour job turned into something much more extensive. Steve’s crew went the extra mile to troubleshoot the issue, re-work the area between the roof and siding, change the pitch of the roof in this valley, install a metal barrier and double ice shield, and re-roof the area. Instead of going the easy route with a band-aid solution, they did things the proper way for longevity to avoid issues that could arise in the future, even though it took longer and was more of a cost to them. Steve is a man of integrity, and I have appreciated HI USA’s support in this matter. The protection of our home is very important to us, and Steve truly understands his customers. I would recommend their services to those looking for a reputable and honest company who stands behind their work and their customers. "
