VanKooten Blacksmithing

With a love for creating with many artist mediums, we started demonstrating blacksmithing with iron during Tulip Time at the Pella Historical Village. We were invited to visit a meeting of Iowa (UMBA) smiths and the passion grew into a small family business.
Along with Tulip Time, we also attend Midwest Old Threshers the weekend before Labor Day and demonstrate in the 1850’s log village shop and sell our designs during this 5 day festival.
