The World Language Department will offer all students, the region, and the state the cultural background and linguistic skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly global society.

Description
The Department offers degrees in French and Spanish through the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Education and Human Development. The Department also offers a minor in Latin and/or Classical Studies, and students may certify to teach Latin through a multidisciplinary plan. Courses in Chinese are available. The Department also offers ESL courses for international students.
