" Jim, the mechanic in my opinion has shady business practices. Be sure if you go there to have them list what they are going to do, and how much it will cost. My wife, innocent trusting thing fell prey to his predatory practices. In addition to wanting an oil change ($25) and brake check/tire rotation ($25), she asked Jim to "check the battery". When we went to close out the bill, Jim charged us $69.99 to "check the battery"!! Every place I have ever been, this is a free, courtesy service. Not at Loch Haven BP garage! Granted, they supposedly tested the entire electrical system, but no where did the words ever even come up to do all that. She said "check the battery" and they even wrote it down "Battery Check" but somehow this translated to a $69.99 procedure to test the whole electrical system. SHADY SHADY SHADY. I even offered to pay $25 for checking the battery. Not good enough. They held my car hostage till I paid their gouged prices. I am posting complaints w/ BP Corp./BBB etc. "
