" The people that work at this Macy's are topnotch. I have arthritis in my left knee and walk with a cane. At Christmas a year ago I bought a lot of clothes for my two grandchildren. I was having a lot of trouble carrying the bag and going down the escalator. One of the salespeople took the bag and helped me down the escalator. When I got to the bottom, I reached for the bag and she said no. Then carried it out of the store and all the way to my car. Then she put the bag into my car and made sure I was safely inside the car.
A couple of weeks ago I was at the Clinique counter and it was very busy. They allowed me to wait while sitting in one of the chairs. Then moved the chair around to the counter where I was making my purchase. "

" Bought a mattress, sales rep was great, first available delivery was 3 weeks. Come delivery day, they cancelled, put me at the end of the line, ANOTHER 3 WEEKS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Can't get a human on the phone, not their toll-free number, their local number, not even their corporate number! They just don't want to be bothered with customers! Well, they won't be bothered with ME ever again. That I can tell you. "

" Buy on line and pick up is a joke. I waited behind a women for 20 mins finally a nice gentlemen from men's cologne noticed me still waiting and assisted me. Thank you fine sir. The cashier looked frustrated with this lady as well as I was but too many employees walked past for me to be waiting 20 in line. So again thank you to the gentleman that assisted me. "

" I feel like if I had ever had to have a job while in college I would have worked at Macy's...but not just any section of Macy's, only the "Home" section. Lol. This is probably the only part of the store that's never as hectic as the apparel, jewelry, or shoe areas. It's always so calm and serene. (Minus sale days!!!) Hahaha!
But don't get me wrong. My husband and I both love shopping at Macy's, both in-store and online. He likes the Polo section (shirts, sweaters, socks, boxers--he has a Polo addiction if you cared to know) and I love their career wear apparel, although I always have to shop juniors. I don't think I'll ever make it to the petite women section sizes. Bummer. I feel like a teenager, but the good part is that I can still make what they offer work for me for a professional environment at my job.
I also like that associates are more times than not walking around on the floor, at least looking like they want to help or straightening the clothing racks, cleaning, etc,. And as usual there are just certain days and times of the year (Holidays, Black Friday, Mega Sales) that you just don't visit or if you do you better come prepared with a battle plan and a first-aid kit because you're going to war. Old ladies have pushed me down before over some church shoes on sale....honey I don't want those kind of problems.
This Macy's definitely has some great selections and I know it's hard to manage, but they strive to keep this store organized and orderly. The managers I've interacted with also seem very professional and competent. Kudos! "

" Okay this is one of my favorite stores. It does have a more fashionable teen selection than the store in Fredericksburg and more of a designer look. They do have a full bedding and furniture department as well. Just be aware that there are two Macy's stores in this mall. One down at the end by Dick's Sporting Goods is for furniture and home and the other mid-mall is clothing. "
