Description

Since 1977, the Maryland Hindu Milan Mandir has been a religious, cultural, and spiritual home to countless Indians who migrated to the United States from Guyana and Trinidad in addition to others. The Mandir’s founding members were keenly aware of the struggles overcome by their ancestors, who toiled as laborers on the colonial plantations, and despite harsh obstacles, preserved the richness of their religion and culture. The Mandir was founded, in large part, to ensure that this precious heritage would not be lost by future generations growing up here in the United States. Today, the Mandir’s membership is comprised not only of Hindus from Guyana and Trinidad but also the broader Hindu community in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.

The Maryland Hindu Milan Mandir is a non-profit tax exempt religious organization registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All of your donations to the Mandir are tax deductible.
