The Boston Red Sox will host a "Dog Day at Fenway Park" event on 6/27. Cost is $14 - dogs free. Take a picture of your dog in front of the Green Monster.

I was disappointed that we did not break the Guinness world record for the most four-legged fans (dogs) attending a sporting event. The Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team in Phoenix, Arizona, had a promotion encouraging fans to bring their dogs to the park in an attempt to break the record. Officially, 858 of the Diamondbacks four-legged fans entered Chase Field for the inaugural "Bark at The Park" promotion that was co-sponsored with Petsmart. The record is 1,000. But do not be dismayed. This is only the first of twelve scheduled ball games for dog-loving fans to bring their best friends to a ball game, have some fun and attempt to break the record. Do you think the dog was enjoying a hot dog (bad joke)?
