" Can't say enough about this museum. First it is in a beautiful setting and new weren't even there at the most beautiful time of year. We went for the special exhibit that was on loan from the Morgan Libray, "Drawn to Greatness" and it was awesome but the permanent collection was such a pleasant surprise. The collection, curated over time by the heir to the Singer Sewing Machine fortune was impressive and rivals some of the major museums in the quality of the collections. I personally loved the Winslow Homer pieces and the pieces by George Inness were spectacular. Then of course were the John Singer Sargeant portraits, and an extensive Impressionist collection. Love love love this place. We were there on a Sunday and arrived when it opened and it was serene and beautiful. We didn't even get to the trails and hope to return in the summer. I did think the $20 entry fee was a bit steep at first but considering the access to such a spectacular collection I felt better about it after we left. If you are anywhere in the area it is well worth the trip! "

" The art collection is superb. The new building is a disaster, both architecturally and functionally. A case of the Emperor’s new clothes? "

" Buildings are set in beautiful picturesque setting. Stunning grounds. Some truly amazing artwork, including Monet, Renoit, Degas, and various American artists as well. 4 star instead of 5 due to the $20 entry fee for such a small museum. Students are free. It is high quality so I would recommend a visit. "

" Exquisite collection of world renowned art. The juxtaposition of the original building with the modem addition is remarkable. The temporary Picasso exhibit paces you thru the artist's life. "

" We had a great time. We attended a lecture by the curator of the Picasso exhibit on his printing. The Clark is an amazing place, beautiful building, beautiful grounds and a superb collection. We very eager to see the Picasso exhibit! "
