Mary McKenna, as principal design architect for over 25 years, leads her architectural firm, Mary McKenna & Associates, Inc., designing and building healthy environments for creative living and working. McKenna is a complex problem solver, adept listener, observer, and an accomplished sculptor. Through careful planning that articulates the client’s goals, she designs both new and adaptive sustainable environments, incorporating universal design principles for life-long enjoyment.

Prior to founding Mary McKenna & Associates, Inc., Mary McKenna was a project architect at Ann Beha and Associates, Stopfel Miller and Huygens DiMella and Shaffer. Early in her career she interned at the office of Benjamin Thompson Associates and had taught architectural design studios as an Adjunct Professor at Mass College of Art and Design. She also was designer and partner in her former company McKenna & Sullivan Architectural Woodworks, which evolved into her current architectural firm.
