" Nice, quiet spot to spend some alone time. The staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating (they even have a free limo service!) Close to downtown and the view is breathtaking. Rooms are large with a balcony, couch, table and chairs, fridge and microwave. I would recommend them to anyone. "

" We stayed at The Apple Tree Inn last night (October 21st). It was my first and last visit. We came into town for my wife’s birthday along with my two kids (8 and 3). I opted for the family suite which is advertised as having a private balcony overlooking Little Traverse Bay. It should have been advertised as having a semi-private patio with a view of Bed Bath and Beyond and a semi-visible view of the bay. Our first floor “suite” did not have a view. To make it even worse, the bathroom was disgusting!!! At checkout I mentioned and this and was told it’s “being taken care of today”. Doesn’t do me any good. It had a horrible odor, so much that we had to sleep with the bathroom door shut. The only reason we didn’t leave or ask for another room was because it was close to 9pm before we got back to the hotel. I was there at 2:30 to check in, but was told the room wasn’t ready yet, so I “checked in” and then picked up my key after returning for our sightseeing trip to the Tunnel of Trees. So I spent $240 for a room without a view and a stinky, dirty bathroom. Thanks for making my wife’s birthday to special Apple Tree Inn. "

" My husband & I spent 3 nights a this lovely place & we can't wait to go back. Everything was quaint & yet well appointed. The rooms were large & clean & the bathroom was large, clean & functionable (still the taps & drain plug in the tub could be updated), only disappointed that my jewellery that was accidentally left on the bed (must have got covered with the sheets) couldn't be found. They have a limo available for your use as well, which was exceptional. "

" I didn't actually stay in the hotel. We were just picking up a friend. But the hotel is in a real nice location. Really pretty from the outside. Well maintained parking lot with plenty of parking. And multiple entrances which makes pulling a full size truck and camper through there really easy. "
