He has 30 years experience in debtor/creditor relations, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. He is board-certified as a civil trial attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and he is also board-certified by the American Board of Certification, f/k/a Commercial Law League of America Academy of Commercial and Bankruptcy Specialists.


John A. Zick specializes in the litigation of serious personal injury and wrongful death matters, and insurance related disputes. He has 30 years of experience and has obtained many favorable verdicts for his clients. Many of his clients are referred to his practice by attorneys who specialize in other areas of the law. Deborah Sellis joined the firm in July, 2008, where she practices litigation in Bankruptcy Court and in state courts throughout Michigan. She represents a variety of financial and lending institutions as well as individuals in commercial, collection, bankruptcy and probate matters. In addition, Mrs. Sellis has extensive experience in trial and appellate court representing personal injury clients, both individual and corporate interests in insurance matters, and has assisted in representing municipalities in various zoning, litigation, and employment-related matters.
