Lawrence J. DeBrincat is an attorney whose practice emphasizes labor and employment law as well as commercial litigation. Mathew Kobliska received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan in 1988, and was awarded his Juris Doctorate in 1991 from Wayne State University Law School. He was admitted to practice law in Michigan in 1991. Mr. Kobliska has practiced at all levels of trial and appellate in the State of Michigan, including Michigan Court of Appeals, an en banc panel of the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, and has filed pleadings with the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Kobliska is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell, their highest rating.


S. Thomas Padgett is an attorney whose practice emphasizes bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 1980, the Florida Bar in 1981, and the California Bar in 1992. He has 30 years experience in debtor/creditor relations, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. He is board-certified as a civil trial attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and he is also board-certified by the American Board of Certification, f/k/a Commercial Law League of America Academy of Commercial and Bankruptcy Specialists.


John A. Zick specializes in the litigation of serious personal injury and wrongful death matters, and insurance related disputes. He has 30 years of experience and has obtained many favorable verdicts for his clients. Many of his clients are referred to his practice by attorneys who specialize in other areas of the law. Mr. Zick has a reputation for thorough preparation and presentation of each client's case, leading to maximum results. Cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, meaning that no attorney fee is owed unless there is a recovery by verdict or settlement. No fee is charged for an initial consultation. Mr. Zick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1976. In 1982, he graduated with honors from the Michigan State University College of Law.


Kelly Kumpula earned her Juris Doctor degree from the college of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2004. At William & Mary she was a Graduate Research Fellow and researched for the book, The Relationship Rights of Children, by James D. Dwyer. She was also a research assistant for a corporations professor. Kelly earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, where she graduated with Academic Distinction in 2001. Kelly Kumpula was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in November, 2004.


Deborah Sellis joined the firm in July, 2008, where she practices litigation in Bankruptcy Court and in state courts throughout Michigan. She represents a variety of financial and lending institutions as well as individuals in commercial, collection, bankruptcy and probate matters. In addition, Mrs. Sellis has extensive experience in trial and appellate court representing personal injury clients, both individual and corporate interests in insurance matters, and has assisted in representing municipalities in various zoning, litigation, and employment-related matters.
