Busy few days here, we've had several rentals go out and also gotten the walls done for our @honeylandjuiceco trailer! We ended up losing a few days because we learned on this one that you can't buy serving windows premade so we spent a ton of time on the phone trying to find such a thing to no avail but the choice we went with is going to be great! Toggle switch for the exterior light on the Little Gem. This was super easy, we took a toggle switch and mounted it to a stainless washer and polished it all then drilled 2 mounting holes. These could be used in any size washer with the right diameter hole or you could even drill a larger hole if needed! #LittleGem #toggleswitch

This week has been the most progress we've been able to accomplish on the Little Gem since the tear down but now we're sitting less than a day away from siding if we put our minds to it! This is a moment that I seriously thought might never happen. Getting all these cabinets to have an even finish and color has been the toughest job we've ever done due to inferior products being used at the start of the project and having to redo everything at least twice, except the walls which only had to be redone once. But without further ado, all the cabinets are installed in the Little Gem! Old to new! These wheel wells were in terrible shape and every time we do a job I wish I could get new ones. After talking to a friend who had some made, she suggested trying a ductwork company and we have a couple other friends who work for one right up the road! I dropped off one of the old ones as a pattern and in less than 4 hours they called to say they had brand new ones made out of a thicker material! The many stages of a trailer frame! We sandblasted this one ourselves and painted it a Chevy red that will match the interior window frames and tie everything together. The springs are being inspected and possibly rebuilt and the next step is the floor! Bye-bye bumper! We're pretty sure this wasn't original and it made it impossible to get to a line of screws that needed to come out so we decided to try the new torches. The metal is almost all off and we're hoping to be down to the floor by the end of the day but it's slow going because everything is either nailed or flathead screwed in. #LittleGem #camp #camper #camping #steel #bumper #torches #restoration
