Since 1940, Hillel at the University of Minnesota has been a home to the Jewish Students on campus, empowering them to build a positive sense of Jewish identity. Hillel also serves as a Jewish resource for university students of all faiths and backgrounds. Hillel's mission is to establish a friendly and welcoming environment where students from different backgrounds can explore Jewish heritage, culture, and tradition. With a very active student board guiding its programming, Hillel consistently strives to bring students together in a community centered on Jewish life, providing the students of the university a safe, open, and comfortable place to study, meet friends, network, discuss, and learn about Judaism.
