Each year 3 ambassadors are selected from a group of candidates to serve as goodwill representatives for the City of Red Wing and its River City Days festival for one year. The ambassadors also spend a large portion of their time volunteering at various events around Red Wing and the state of Minnesota. At the end of their year of service, each ambassador receives an educational scholarship. Currently, each ambassador receives a $2000 scholarship. We hope to increase this amount in the future based on donations from citizens and businesses.
