This Sunday the burn camp kids will be heading through Seward on their way to camp in Burwell. The fire departments along the way will be escorting the kids. We ask that everyone come and line Highway 34 thru town as we escort them thru town. They are leaving lincoln around 1pm... thanks everyone. We will try to keep updates going as to what time they get left and their whereabouts. Thank you for helping us support this special cause. It means so much to these kids and nurses.

Wednesday, March 27 at 0026 Seward Fire was toned out to a working structure fire in the 100th block of East Lincoln Avenue. The first engine arrived on scene 6 minutes after the initial page to a two-story residential garage that was partial involved. Crews stretched hand lines to the rear of the residence and were able to make an offense attack getting a knock down on the fire within minutes after arrival. There were no occupants in the structure at the time the fire.
