We are located at 503 W. Main St. in Albion, Nebraska. Shorty’s Ice Cream Shoppe is co-owned by Janelle King, Jennifer Landauer and Dave & Deb Landauer. Why the name “Shorty’s”?…. If you live in Albion, you probably already know the “Shorty” it was named after… Jennifer & Janelle’s grandpa, Dave’s dad, Deb‘s father-in-law, Shorty Landauer. Need we say more?
Our menu includes a wide variety of ice cream favorites - from shakes and malts to tornadoes (Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s Pieces, Cookie Dough, Oreo, Butterfinger, Snickers, & M&M’s) plus cones, sundaes and everything in between. We also serve several food items daily including hamburgers, chicken strips, nachos, fries, BBQ beef & pork sandwiches and much more!
We are now offering homemade baked goods at Shorty's such as cookies, cakes, cupcakes, bars & more!

Also our fryer is being maintenanced right now so we don't have any fryer items today (no chicken strips, fries, tots, cheddar bites or onion rings). Sorry for the inconvenience. Happy Easter!!!
