Welcome to “Joy’s Table”, formerly “SOZO American Cuisine”. Owned by the Klute family since 2016, the devastating flood in July of 2019 presented us with the opportunity to bring a more family focused, fine dining experience to Kearney. When we reopen in October – in addition to the new name – you’ll find a newly designed dining room, new menu, new drinks with the same focus on the freshest locally produced ingredients. We are pleased and honored to continue our service to the Kearney community and visitors.

Dear friends, loyal customers and Kearney community,
Travis and Sara Evans have decided to move on to their next adventure and have left Sozo American Cuisine and Angus Burgers & Shakes. We appreciate what they have done for our restaurants, and we wish them well. As mentioned before, we are still moving forward and creating a new space for you, your family, and those traveling through. This space will be a joyful gathering spot for all and we look forward to serving you! T...he menu is being designed and will have an Italian influence along with offerings of the best steaks around from Nebraska Star Beef. For this exciting new chapter, we could not be in better hands with all our team members, the Klute family and Liam Mendoza. We are a strong, united family and we strive to create a place where you too, become part of this family. From all of us, to all you, thank you again for your patience as we work towards creating a dining experience with you and your family in mind.
