Expansion update: We have received a lot of furniture this week! Pictured is our new multipurpose room where we will host seminar every week as well as many other events. Stay tuned as we receive more furniture and are able to move into the new space!

We are so close to being able to use these sidewalks to enter the Biomechanics Research Building expansion! We have partial occupancy in the offices and can't wait until we get to fully move in!

We are happy to announce our large Center grant from the NIH, Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) Phase II was awarded! We will receive $10.3 million dollars spread over the next five years. We are excited to expand our research and academic endeavors.
To make the day even better, our new assistant professor, Dr. Anastasia Desyatova, also received an R01 award from the NIH for $2.4 million dollars over the next five years.
A total of $12.7 million awarded to UNO Biomechanics in one day!
