The qualities that we require in an employee are dependability (including exceptional attendance); strength to lift 65 lbs; no criminal convictions or serious driving violations; at least 18 years old; high school graduate or equivalent; and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings. Job duties include assisting clients with toileting, self-care, meals, and training programs, as well as implementing behavior management protocols.

Eagle Valley is looking for compassionate, energetic and dependable people to care for individuals (children and adults) with developmental disabilities in the Carson/Reno/Sparks areas. Respite provides parent/primary caregivers temporary short-term care of the dependent person in the family’s home.
This position provides an opportunity for valuable experience for individuals in CNA, Early Childhood, Nursing and Social Work programs, among others, and on-going training is provided.
Must be willing to travel, usually within 60 miles of your home. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed. Requirements include: valid Nevada driver’s license & liability insurance as well as a dependable car. MUST be able to pass drug and alcohol tests, pre-employment fitness test, and lift 65 lbs.
