Fernley is a city in Lyon County, Nevada, United States, east of the Reno–Sparks metropolitan area. The city incorporated in 2001; prior to that it was a census-designated place (CDP). The population of the city was 19,368 at the 2010 census. Fernley is home to the Reno-Fernley Raceway, and is the former home of Amazon.com which has relocated to Reno.GeographyFernley is located at the intersection of Interstate 80, U.S. Route 50 Alternate, and U.S. Route 95 Alternate (US 95A). Hispanic or Latino of any race were 14.4% of the population.
