" If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and responsive contractor that does quality work, look no further. For my kitchen and bath remodel projects, I called 12 different contractors and got estimates from 5. GI Construction not only had a competitive bid (4th lowest of the 5), the bid was more comprehensive than any other, including critically important prep and repair work that no other contractor discovered while making an estimate. For example, since I wanted to completely redo the kitchen cabinets with a new layout, Isaac pointed out that the new layout and size of the cabinets meant that the floor ought to be replaced also and explained why. No other contractor noticed that and left me thinking I could keep my existing floor.
GI Construction is often busy, which you can take as a good sign. But despite being very busy over the summer of 2022, GI Construction went the extra mile to complete as many phases of the job as possible with work crews on site every day. Valentin is the production lead on site and made sure everything went smoothly. Valentin is super responsive and collaborative and worked with me through every decision, large and small. Every worker and sub-contractor was professional, friendly, and dedicated to doing quality work, not just putting in the hours. They wanted the remodel to come out as good as I did and took real pride in accomplishing that.
Note that GI Construction is not an "all inclusive" contractor with an in-house design department that literally does everything for you, including selecting and procuring materials and fixtures. You provide the design and materials, and GI Construction does the construction, installation, and finishing. You'll get plenty of advice from Isaac and Valentin on how to find and buy materials, like if you have no idea what a baseboard is or where to buy one, so don't worry about that. Just be prepared to do some legwork and shopping once the contract is signed. On the plus side, this means that every decision about color, composition and style will be completely under your control. "

" G1 did an absolutely amazing job on our master bath remodel! We had several companies provide estimates and I am so glad we went with Isaac, Valentine and the team at G1! To begin with, the way this company does business saves you money without compromising the final product. Isaac sets you up with his vendors to get you high quality tile, fixtures, etc. at a discount. He is even willing to shop with you. The other companies we spoke to wanted you to purchase everything through them which would have added about 25% to our final cost. Additionally, the constant communication from Valentine, our PM really eased the anxiety you naturally feel during a project like this in your home. The team showed up on time, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They even finished the job AHEAD of schedule. This has not been my experience with most contractors. We will definitely hire G1 for our next job! "
