Originally from California, the Carrion family purchased the Owl Club Bar & Steakhouse in 1981. The original owner, Harland Hiles, sold the business to Ted Carrion in mid-January. Soon Ted's oldest son, Ron, moved his family to Eureka to manage the business. Throughout the 31 years that the Carrion's owned and operated the Owl Club, they re-vamped the appearance and expanded. Since Ron's passing in 2009, his kids are actively trying to sell business.
