" I would say my visit was ok. First, the overall dynamic of the office changed in the past year. When I met with the surgeon a few months ago, he was 15 minutes late to the office. For my recent appointment with Dr. Messina, I pre-registered online so I wouldn’t have to do it when I arrived. I arrived 2 minutes before my appointment and waited in the reception area for maybe 3 minutes- it was fast. But then I was brought into a room and the nurse asked why I was there, which it says the nature of my visit on my chart, and I preceded to wait 45 minutes before the doctor came in. When she walked in I told her I was not happy and she said she comes in when she knows she has a patient and looked at the nurse, who said she was with another doctor. So you mean to tell me, the nurse never told her I was there and kept me waiting that long. Unacceptable. The waiting room was packed when I finally left. The staff needs to figure out how to NOT overbook appointments and let patients know if they are running behind. "

My procedure experience was excellent. Everyone… checking in, the PA and doctor were friendly and welcoming, answered all my questions and kept me comfortable. No long waits. Actually looking forward to my next appointment! "
