" Probably the best dive bar close to the Madison Square Garden. This is my place before and after concerts and they always nail with the music. U2 concert? U2 music! Billy Joel concert? BJ music (pun not intended). The crowd will always be nice and the staff is what you expect from a dive bar, if you're nice with them, they will be nice to you. Just grab your beer and enjoy! "

" Came in randomly looking for a place to get a burger and a beer. The prices were great, everybody was nice, and they had a solid veggie burger. Definitely a cool little spot hiding In my least favorite part of NYC. I will be back. "

" Proper Ranger Bar. Guinness on tap and a good happy crowd. Good food options but a little too greasy for my taste. Friends had no complaints.
Lots of TVs so you don't need to squint and fight for a view. Good guy/girl ratio.
Menu ranges from typical Irish pub food, Tex-Mex, Burgers, ven veggie-burgers and salad options. "
