" Amazing and interesting museum. Your mind will wander. Make sure you can enjoy minimalist modern art or you will be very bored. Floors are polished so good idea not to wear sneakers. "

" I obviously broke the rule, but... No photos allowed. Sad. Great place, though. "

" Walk around and into Serra's Torqued Ellipses. Ponder the heaviness of the human condition and, only if you are up for it, the sheer frailty of existence and being. "

" Great collection of minimalist art, many are site specific installations making Dia a very special place. If you wear sneakers, your shoes may squeak on the polished cement floors. "

" Large-scale works by Dan Flavin, Richard Serra & Andy Warhol are on display in this converted Nabisco factory that’s now on the National Register of Historic Places. Free tours on Saturdays at 1 p.m. "

" Beautiful building and a lovely train ride here. But the collection appears to be a high concept spoof about how bad most abstract art is and the dangers of smugness and pretension in the art world "

" Walk inside the Serra sculptures. It's a claustrophobic but fantastic expierence. "

" One of the greatest art pilgrimages w/in an easy distance of NYC. Take the train to the former Nabisco factory & spend a day in a Minimalist Mecca. The Heizers are spectacular, but so are the Serras. "

" The collection and the space are incredible. After seeing the artwork, do take the time to go out to the little garden off the right side of the entrance. "

" Lots of emperor's new clothes stuff here. Don't come if you don't like wondering whether something is art or just a place-holder for art to be put up later. "

" Speaking of Beacon, taking the time to take in the art at this outpost of Dia will be time well spent. Sitting amongst the Andy Warhol's alone will make you feel like you're one with art history. "

" The building is just as breathtaking as the art. "

" Dia's northern outpost is one of the country's best galleries. Any time of year, it has a massive collection of modern works of art from the 1960s on. "

" One of the best day trips from the city. Take Metro-North along the Hudson Walk slowly through one of the Serra 'torqued ellipses' and watch it get dark...twice! "

" Don't lean on the Serras! Err,...or any of the other artwork, for that matter... "

" the space is quite something. from the outside it's unassuming... inside you'll be wow'd. "
