In addition to my role as a Financial Advisor for NMIS’ investment advisory business, I want to make you aware of other business activities in which I am engaged. I am a registered representative for NMIS’ broker-dealer business. In this capacity I sell and service securities (e.g., mutual funds and variable insurance products). I am also an appointed insurance agent of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee, WI (NM) and its affiliates. In this capacity I sell and service various types of insurance products such as life and disability insurance and annuities. I have an obligation to offer NM products, however from time to time I may also sell and service insurance products offered by firms not affiliated with NM.
