" First off for the price, the room was extremely small and out dated. Staff was not friendly at all! Wi-Fi was terrible, even after paying for it. The bathroom was dirty, and have mold in the shower. The temp in the room, half the time it was hot in the room that we had you open the window. When calling down you see how to adjust the temp, they said they could send someone up. Overall it was the worst experience I've ever had. Only good thing doing was the pillow are comfortable. "

" Friendly staff but when we checked in, we went to the room and five minutes later another guest used a key card to enter into our room...we were all equally confused because the employee just assigned us the room and did the same for the next guest. It was fine in the end. The rooms show a bit of age, but the hardwood floor is nice. The bathroom "door" didn't fully shut. Also, the radiator is right below the window AC unit and was blowing the hottest air imaginable. Overall, a nice hotel, if you are okay with mediocre. "

" The Mansfield Hotel was an excellent choice for a night out in the city. Location is prime, right off 5th avenue and a short walk to Times Square. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was elegantly historic, albeit a bit small. I would absolutely stay here again! "

" My husband and I stayed here for a business trip and liked it enough to book a second stay a couple years later. The rooms are small, but that's expected in NYC. The bathrooms are nice and updated. The room was a little bit cold, but they gave us a blanket. The bed was not made properly and the mattress pad was exposed at the feet which is unsanitary. The lobby and stairs are absolutely gorgeous though. "

" Quite nice place, only rly annoying things: the room windows suck, feels like they are open all day long.. should be replaced. Very loud as many rooms are built towards the street (combined with these windows...) thus, extremely noisy. "

If charming and historic is your thing, you've found your place. Wood floors, crown moulding, marble stairs, all the best. Service isn't what I've had at other locations, but I don't care so much about a doorman, bellman, etc. "
