Torrie began her career in the beauty industry right out of high school, attending Paul Mitchell the School in her hometown of Santa Barbara. She eventually left the beach for New York to study at Make-Up Designory in SoHo. This led to her working on photoshoots, film sets, and backstage at NYFW. While apprenticing at a salon in the Meatpacking District, she worked closely with some of New York’s top hair stylists and a high profile clientele, refining her eye for color. From there she worked in TriBeCa until making the move to where her heart really lies, in Brooklyn.
