" The mall is sadly falling into disrepair. 1/4 of the stores are empty. The entire 3rd level has been closed for years. 3 of the 4 anchor stores are closed or closing. There are a handful of national chain stores but the majority of the mall are local stores.
There are a few surprisingly good restaurants in the food court like Southern Flavor and Reynaldo’s, which actually warrant a visit to the mall. Yes, that’s a recommendation for mall food. "

" This mall is basically cashing a check. Meaning they could be doing soooooo much better if they got in some nicer stores. Throw in a book store, a hot topic, an arcade maybe, expand the food court, and add some better known clothing stores. Then it could be a respectable and notable mall people would talk about. "

" I've been working at this location for awhile, I've seen good and bad.. management changes often.. yes they need to bring in more stores so people don't have to travel far... but what people fail to realize is if you don't support your local business how can they prosper. If you drive to Charlotte to others stores to make purchases and return to the local stores that's not good business.... so when the stores do close that you shop at and you have to travel far don't talk down on the mall cause of lack of stores ... just ask yourself what did I do to help the stores.... keeping a positive mindset "
