" A few simple words cannot express how appreciative we were with King Law in Charlotte NC, especially with our attorney, Martie Wallace, during this difficult time for my brother & myself after our mom passed away.
The decision to hire an attorney is never an easy one especially after the death of a family member. You want to make sure the person you hire has your best interest at heart, which I highly recommend you do because there will be many obstacles encountered during the process that only an attorney can help navigate for you. Martie Wallace was that person for us. We had to follow many legal processes including the transfer of Guardianship from another state for my brother before I could even file for Guardianship in NC along with other lengthy processes before we could even begin the collection of personal property (small estate).
I never would have survived the nightmare we experienced with my credit union & their lack of knowledge regarding specific documents needed or the miscommunication involving small estate accounts due to their “one size fits all” policies without Martie’s guidance, patience, & professionalism. She was our voice of reason.
It is almost bittersweet that we are nearing the end of the whole process after 16 months of hard work on Martie’s part, but she always went above & beyond to make sure the process went as smoothly as possible during this time.
I only hope that anyone who has experienced a loss or otherwise has someone like Martie to represent them. She truly is a gem. "
