Laura enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and specializes in residential and land sales in Western North Carolina. It brings her extra joy to help first-time home buyers and assist in equine properties. While her heart is in North Asheville, where she has lived with her family for the last 11 years, she also has extensive experience in Weaverville, Mars Hill, Barnardsville, Hendersonville/Flat Rock, and many other communities throughout the region.

Laura gets her love of homes and spaces – and her creative vision – from her mother, who was an interior designer. She credits her dad, an engineer, with her hands-on approach and attention to detail. She earned her real estate broker's license in 2006 and went to work for The Settings of Black Mountain, a high-end developer. She eventually transitioned to residential sales and general brokerage and, over the last decade, has built a reputation based on her innovative marketing tactics, responsiveness, and clear, consistent communication – from the initial listing appointment or showing through closing.

When she's not selling real estate, Laura is covering it. An avid runner and triathlete, she spends most early mornings pounding the pavement in preparation for her next race. She has completed eight marathons and four half-Ironman triathlons. Later this year, she'll tackle her second 140.3 Ironman triathlon (in Lake Placid, New York).
