Old Field Lavender Farm

I make ritual smudge bundles using the lavender grown at Old Field Lavender Farm and other ethically wildcrafted plants. By ethically wild crafted, I mean that I always ask permission from the plant before cutting, I always say thank you, and I never ever take all there is to take. My intention in making smudge bundles is to create and effectuate radical societal change — specifically, to end racism and discrimination against minorities in America. I also have the intention of bringing about change in the way we treat our natural world. I hold the natural world sacred, and I am sick to my core at the mess we have made on this planet. We have a lot of work to do to fix it. Although I have only recently begun making magic smudge bundles again in this incarnation, Spirit has told me that I have been making magic smudge bundles for seven lifetimes. I was very hesitant to use the word “smudge,” as I believe it to be a cultural appropriation, and I do not wish or intend to offend anyone.
