As a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) plus my additional Sellers designations represent an extensive Real Estate education. This education plus a lifetime of business experience equips me to provides my clients with a much higher level of professional representation, whether buying or selling. What this means to you is, I’m hands on and give every detail of your transaction my undivided attention.

During my 27 years in Financial Services, I helped families successfully negotiate complex financial situations with ease. From this job, I developed systems and strategies to manage multifaceted projects, like a Real Estate transaction, smoothly and effectively. I bring all this experience to bear, in order to ensure you achieve your Real Estate objectives. I’m a harden veteran of tough negotiations on behalf of my clients.

Moving is not just buying and selling property

Through the course of my professional career it became necessary to relocate my family, which includes kids and pets, six times. So I am intimately aware of the emotional issues that are part of moving. My thorough understanding of these challenges will allow us to mitigate some of the more difficult human issues that result from a move, regardless of whether it’s your primary residence or a second home.

The Heart of a Dad

After my wife passed away, I had the privilege of raising our youngest daughter by myself. I knew I had to become a better man, in order to fulfill the roles of both parents. My daughter has been my greatest teacher in learning the lessons of balancing the head and heart, being firm but fair. I now always pay attention to the “heart” of the situation. This means that I have the patience and passion to hang in there, regardless of how difficult the situation may seem. You will quickly come to understand that when I’m on your side, you have an advocate that will never quit, no matter what.

Native North Carolinian

Growing up in NC, we spent every summer at the beach. This was where my love of sailing and diving was born. Currently I am involved with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary focusing on Vessel Safety Inspection and public Safe Boating Courses. I support the local Humane Society’s adoption program and any free time I have is spent sailing, doing yoga or hanging out with my kids and grandchildren.
